Your Bones Got A Little Machine
so, with the house hunting there is no way we can splurge on tickets to Coachella. but, there’s hope for us yet. we are planning on driving up with friends to see The Pixies in the oh-so-lovely city of Vancouver in April. it’s the warm up tour and i’ll take Vancouver, BC over Spokane any day.
and on a completely different subject, i’ve noticed there is a sort of snoginess about some blogs (blog+snob) out there. i won’t mention any names, but i have experienced it first hand. for the most part, my bloggy friends are just that … friendly. but i have noticed on some blogs that consider themselves intellectual-techy that there is a slight undercurrent of “hey, you aren’t qualified to post here”. i prefer the nicer approach like Lane, Chuck, Tim, Juan, Amanda, Wiley and many more. beware the snoggies.

i’m not down with ass-clown bloggers either. in general, i don’t care for the impolite. but it seems kind of cowardly to be snobby ON-LINE. i bet these people don’t even make a peep when someone cuts in front of them at the grocery store.

if i ever get snoggy, please slap me around. i don’t think i will, but then the snogs are usually the last people to find out.
[and thanks for the nice mention. i was very proud.]

I’m touched, and I totally agree. It is very easy for people who get pushed around in life to use the anonymity of the internet as a way to put others down. I guess you can’t get away from it no matter where you go. We’ll just have to stick together.

A few of them are snoggy in person. I was going to anonymously name names, but thought better of it. I’m glad to be among The Friendlies! Please slap me around if I get snoggy also. Or you know, just randomly.
Coachella is out of my reach too, but we might see the Pixies in Winnipeg.
