The Proof Is In The Pudding
often times it is difficult to discern the rhetoric that floods the media during political campaigns. my approach has always been to absorb as much information as possible to enable the best decision i can make (the key being as much information as possible). it may seem glaringly obvious, but reading up on what the current administration is saying helps me move towards a decision. links have been added for the White House, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. the usefulness, for me at least, in these sites is not just that they contain information that may not have been a good sound byte for the news, but also contain complete transcripts of interviews, speeches, etc. take, for example, this transcript of Deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, speaking at Georgetown University. make your own judgements off of the unedited for TV versions of what political figures say when you can!
