Stupid, stupid, stupid

as do most people, i have very low expectations of daytime television. it’s usually something i watch when i’m sick (like today) and am feeling too crappy to concentrate on reading and too uncomfortable to actually sleep. most shows are typically outrageous and that the show does it for ratings. however, for the first time i saw that show The View hosted by a bunch of faceless idiots. i had been familiar with it from SNL skits but hadn’t actually seen it before. it might have been the worst thing i’d ever seen. i was actually insulted and feeling like these women are a disgrace to women in general. perhaps that’s a bit harsh, but they did go on and on about wanting to get a tax credit for going to the gym. it was HORRIBLE. and the worst part? it was clear that these women actually think that they are creating thought provoking, intellectual conversations. the Jenny Craig commercial woman kept talking about her experience as an actress and comic. Star Jones (thank you Tracy Morgan) kept talking about how she wanted to do the right thing but still go to McDonald’s so she tried to order the small fries. WTF? it made me want to go to work.
