Did I really just hear an audio clip from W where he says one of the reasons for the inquiry (of the federal response to Hurrance Katrina) was because we need to respond to an attack with ‘WMDs’. There are SO many things wrong with this, so I’ll go with the easy one. I detest hearing the ‘WMD’ acronym tossed out there with a smirk. Are weapons of mass destruction not important enough to say the whole damn thing?

Thank goodness he has his mother to talk some sense in to him. Oh, wait ….

“And the reason it’s important is, is that we still live in an unsettled world. We want to make sure that we can respond properly if there’s a WMD (weapons of mass destruction) attack or another major storm. And so I’m going to find out over time what went right and what went wrong,” he added.
