Love Is Aluminum

turns out love is aluminum. who would have thought? our friends (who also happen to double as my employer) bought an Apple Powerbook G4 with a 15″ screen and superdrive. i was speechless. it is an amazing wedding gift. so now we have two Apples in the house networked together and ready for wi-fi!

wow. that’s the best wedding gift ever.
except for whatever my mom and dad got us. i don’t remember what it was, but i’m sure it was better than a 15″ Powerbook.

don’t parents always give the best gifts? my mom bought us a set of dishes, plates, etc. for 8. it came with a pitcher and platter that have a gnome on them. yep, the kind with the red hat that sit in the front yard. strangely, they’ve grown on me.
