As I sit here enjoying the beginning of Winter Wind Storm 2006, I keep thinking about the fact that there are only so many months left of just us. December’s leaving quickly and that really only leaves us about four months. I find myself really enjoying time spent home alone together with the dogs doing nothing at all.

If you haven’t already guessed, we’re expecting a baby this spring. And a date that at once seemed so far away now seems to be swiftly moving towards us. It’s such a strange mixture of excitement, terror, anticipation, joy and just about every other emotion you can imagine. For awhile there, the only thing I was experiencing was overwhelming nausea (why the hell do they call it “morning” sickness?). Now that it’s behind me I’m really enjoying the weeks. Life as we know it, is about to change forever.
