NYC - My friends are tired of me going on and on about the Seattle radio station KEXP … just ask Juan if you don’t believe me! They are one of the last radio stations that are actually DJ formatted rather than multi-national greedy corporate conglomerate formatted and they will be in NYC in a couple weeks broadcasting live at CMJ Music Marathon and the Museum of Radio and Broadcasting. Their in-studio guests include:

Mon 10/20 7am (10am EST): Ted Leo
Mon 10/20 9am (12pm EST): The Damnwells

Tues 10/21 7am (10am EST): The Stills
Tues 10/21 8am (11am EST): Steve Earle
Tues 10/21 9am (12pm EST): Ambulence ltd

Wed 10/22 3pm (6pm EST): Mando Diao
Wed 10/22 5pm (8pm EST): Clearlake

Thurs 10/23 2pm (5 EST): Death Cab For Cutie
Thurs 10/23 3pm (6 EST) Long Winters
Thurs 10/23 4:30pm (7:30 EST) Nada Surf

Fri 10/24 3pm (6pm EST): Low Flying Owls
Fri 10/24 5pm (8pm EST): Fiery Furnaces

You can sign up at their website to see any of these bands for FREE in a small studio (about 30 people). Just click on the KEXP in NYC link on the main page of their site.
