i have a weakness for children’s books, specifically clever, well illustrated books. one of my favorites is The Stinky Cheese Man & Other Stories featuring twisted fairytales like The REALLY Ugly Duckling who grows in to a really, ugly duck. so you can imagine my delight when i stumbled across this gem at the bookstore.Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus is exactly what it sounds like, a book about a pigeon who really, really, really wants to drive the bus. this book was only surpassed by its companion The Pigeon Finds A Hot Dog!. Mo Willems is a veteran of kids stuff (he used to write for Sesame Street) and it shows. i love a book that is so simple and yet so hilarious at the same time!
