Starbody

at last i have finished reading John Steinbeck’s East of Eden. i am typically a very quick reader, but some books i like to take the time to savour ever word, turn each sentence over in my mind while reading. i find this book to be profound and reassuring each time i read it. i have only read one of his other books, The Grapes of Wrath and a short story, The Red Pony. both of these i read in high school and that makes me think i should give them both another shot. or perhaps i should read The Winter of Our Discontent purely because i love that title. and now on to the next book!
