i saw/heard George W on the news giving a speech that said “we will not leave Iraq until our mission is accomplished …” and i’m thinking, okay, you have speech writers. LOTS of speech writers and not one of them said, “uh, excuse me sir, but …. no, put down the LeapPad. umm, do you think maybe you should change that last part to ‘until our job is finished’ or maybe any phrase that’s different than the one you used on that aircraft carrier?”
